Their Lordships stipulate, however, that these arrangements shall be subject to review on the first occurrence of a vacancy in tue Chief Justiceship of

Hongkong.

I am to enquire whether the arrangements mentioned above are acceptable to the Secretary of State for the Colonies and the Government of Hongkong.
